The Out of Bounds Club is a fake country club whose only entry requirement is failure — and it dresses that failure up in full country-club regalia. Crests, fake heraldry, ornamental laurels, fake-Latin mottoes (Semper Out), white OB stakes crossed like a coat of arms, and the OBC monogram on everything. All the pomp of a members-only club, none of the talent.
